LONAGRO MANAGEMENT CHANGE

It is with great regret that LonAgro says farewell to John Dapling; LonAgro Angola Country Manager who has announced his retirement effective from 31 May 2017.

John joined LonAgro Angola at the end of 2013, against a backdrop of a very difficult political and economic environment. Despite the climate at the time, John played a valuable part in the company’s successes and growth, and MES and LonAgro staff would like to wish John and his family all the best with their future endeavours.

To succeed John, LonAgro and MES would like to welcome Eduardo Lima. Eduardo is a Portuguese National, and has been living and working in Angola for the last 10 years.

He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management and has extensive sales and marketing experience having previously worked as Head of Sales for multinational G4S Security.

Prior to this, Eduardo worked as Business Manager at Grupo Líder which is one of largest players in the agricultural industry in Angola and he also spent a few years working as consultant and facilitating consortiums of private investors which included two large multimillion dollar agricultural projects in Angola.

Please join the MES Team in welcoming Eduardo, and wish him well in taking on this new challenge as we continue to build our Angola operation.
